Lake Wanaka, Arrowtown and Queenstown

So on our travels we headed as far south as we could, aiming for Queenstown with a few little stops along the way. Aroowtown, where time has turned backwards and you feel like you're walking into an old western, with saloon bars and tumbleweed roaming the streets. A beautiful little town, little being the appropriate word! We stayed for three days in Queenstown, a bit more my kind of place, full of trendy shops and bars, snow sports shops and most importantly, Starbucks! Just what you need after a cold cold day on the mountain. Being a newbie at snowboarding was really tough, but so much fun it made up for it, and the sense of achievement by the end of the day was enough. Awesome place!
