Visiting Family in Mount Maunganui

We spent a good few days in Mount Maunganui and the surrounding areas visiting family and friends, all of which it was our first time meeting! The mount is the remains of an old volcano, and such a beautiful place to walk around, amazing beaches and views, with little coffee bars and restaurants lining the sea front. We walked around the mount, went for a dip in the sea...forgot it was winter! One of my favourite places so far.
